I have a question. Well, actually two! First, can you find vanilla beans at a regular grocery store and secondly, when you said that you would use less red velvet next time, have you done that since then and if so, how much did you use? This recipe has EVERYTHING in it that I wanted to use for a Christmas dessert for the family get together so I really wanna make this and I want it to be just right!
Some grocery stores usually sell vanilla beans and also at Williams Sonoma. They can be a little pricey so I do use vanilla bean paste if I’m out of vanilla beans. If you have time to order online beanilla has a nice selection. I haven’t made this again but next time I will probably use about half of the red velvet batter. Hope this helps!
