Délice de Bourgogne

This is my new favorite cheese. It is so rich and creamy I absolutely love it! A friend brought this cheese over for my birthday party and we ate if so fast we forgot to even look to see what type of cheese it was. I was so happy when my friend sent me a pic of the label. The first Délice de Bourgogne I tried was from Trader Joes and the second slice pictured above is from Whole Foods. Both equally delicious.

This is the perfect addition to any cheese plate. If you love Brie, you need to try this if you haven’t already.

This was my dinner one night, Délice de Bourgogne, toasted bread, champagne grapes, and truffle honey.

This cheese is also great on a steak sandwich with caramelized onions.

  1. O. MY. GOODNESS. That toasted bread with truffle honey looks out-of-this-world. What else do you do with truffle honey? I like it but not sure what to have it with. I had thin truffle tagliatelle for dinner tonight and it blew my mind.

    • I love anything with truffle! I also used truffle honey to top the Herbed Ricotta and Pistachio Crostini. I usually just use it to go with cheese but it should work in any savory recipe that calls for honey. I know some people like honey drizzled on pizza, the truffle honey would be a good one for that.

      • Wow. There is a whole world of honey I didn’t know about here. Honey on pizza! I have some Italian chestnut honey which is more bitter than sweet and have been thinking about what to do with it. I once saw Jamie Oliver doing some kind of crazy honey-cheese-crushed coffee bean thing. He just bashed the beans up a bit in a pestle and mortar and sprinkled it on the cheese with the drizzled honey. I love honey but need to get used to how to cook with it.
