Saturday was the first Burger Bash for the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival. The event was hosted by Martha Stewart and featured a selection of sliders, fries and drinks. I have not gotten the chance to check out the NY Burger Bash, so I have nothing to compare this one to. Judging by pics that I have seen, the NY Burger Bash seems much better. For the price of the ticket, I expected just a little more variety and creativity of burgers. I can’t complain about the amount of the burgers because there was an abundance of them and also a selection of fries including truffle fries. The drinks where provided by Jack Daniels and some servers had beer and wine and a cash bar was also available. Overall it was a nice event and who can really complain about having unlimited burgers and drinks on the beach. Check out some of the pics. Advertisements

If your in the New York area September 28 or 29th, stop by the 2nd annual Taste of France in New York’s Bryant Park. The event is the world’s largest event dedicated to France. You will be able to enjoy French cuisine, wine, fashion, beauty, and much more. The best part is the event is free to enter and the Market is open to the public. It will also benefit Action Against Hunger. If you decide to check it out, make sure to stop by the Maille mini boutique. This will be the first time their renowned Chablis Dijon will be available on tap. The Maille Chablis Dijon is served from an authentic French porcelain pump and will be available fill to order in earthenware mustard pots with cork stoppers. If you’ve never had Maille Dijon, definitely stop by for a taste and pick up a jar for the road!
The French Your Day! event at Le Palais des Thés gave guests a chance to discover new products and tastes for breakfast/brunch, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. I have to say, this was such a perfect event because it included so many things that I love, canelé, truffles, champagne, and wonderful tea. In addition to Palais des Thés, products were featured by Alain Milliat, Plantin Truffle, Canelé by Celine, and Pommery.
I am from Philly so I had to go to the Made in America Festival! I am a huge fan of Jay Z and a lot of the other performers. I had a blast and can not wait until next year. I really enjoyed the diverse line up, it was definitely something for everyone. There was a section of food trucks set up and also another section with BBQ, sandwiches from Tony Luke’s, and crab fries from Chickies and Pete’s which are one of my faves so I was happy with that. In addition to food there was lots and lots of Budweiser. As you can see from the pic, I enjoyed my Budweiser Lime a Rita. Here are a few pics from the festival. I went back and forth about taking my Nikon, but I didn’t want to risk it with the crowds. Not to mention it weighs a ton, so the handy iPhone won at the end.
